April 2012
i have so much to say. so, so much. i’m currently about 30% into the 2nd book. my one big concern right now ishow is the supposed to be a movie?i can’t see it.
anyway, since this has taken over my entire office, here is a glimpse into our e-mail conversations.
COWORKER: “hahaha seriously, is this chick not the dumbest character you have every encountered.”
COWORKER: “AND SHE HAS KNOWN HIM FOR LEGIT 3 WEEKS”
ME: “how can this be a movie? it will HAVE to be an NC17 rating. I mean, I feel too young to be reading this”
COWORKER: “although i wouldn’t mind a young super hot bazillionaire wooing me. that’d be ok.”
ME: “yeah, true. that money is quite tempting. also, is there a plot?”
COWORKER: “I don’t think until the 3rd book. and even then it’s touch and go.”
oh good, something to look forward to!
the entire female population in my office is reading shades of grey.
they’re giving me 2 weeks to read the first one before our “book club” meeting.
this book has taken my office my storm…we don’t even HAVE a book club.
the types of food they’re talking about bringing is just…i can’t even talk about it here.
i’m by far the youngest one participating in this “book club” and i’m terrified.
so, don’t mind me as i secretly start reading the first book at my desk…
I propose “Bring Your Friend to Work Day.”
How much more fun would that be?
Sure, I enjoy having all of my busy work completed by eager kids (stamping, labling, stapling). But, instead of gchatting our friends all day, we could talk AND get work done.
This would either be super productive or super unproductive, but either way it sounds like a win to me.
Thoughts?
- Me: i printed out my calendar through memorial day. lots to do!
- Amy: yup
- like find plans for memorial day
- Me: including find memorial day wknd plans
- HAHA
- Amy: i'm dying at my desk
- Me: priorities!
has anyone received this message on iPhoto:
“The disk containing your iPhoto library is running low on space”
& if so, how can i fix this problem?
i mean, i do have 21,403 photos…but seriously, people have to have more, right?
I’m headed to NYC on Saturday (just for the night!) & was hoping you guys could help me.
My friend and I are staying in Chelsea and want to make sure we get the most of the area while we’re there. I’m basically a clueless mess in NYC, so any suggestions would be gladly appreciated!
We have dinner/night plans with another friend, but during the day we want to walk around & explore shop (and eat).
We’re not afraid to be touristy either.
Go! [& many thanks in advance!]
