Notes &
![i recently read kyle richards’ book, life is not a reality show. i rarely read these types of books (besides for tina fey’s & mindy kaling’s books).
i’m not really sure what made me choose to read this book… but last week while browsing the kindle library i figured why not?
i started reading the book and really found myself liking what she had to say about relationships, finding a guy, and overall how to handle dating these types of situations. but, as i read on about her mom, sisters and growing up in beverly hills i found myself rather bored. she then goes into detail about hair, make up, clothes, etc. yawn
while all of it was interesting, i didn’t find the second half of her book nearly as great as the first half.
i was really hoping for some juicy rhobh gossip, but it was literally a book about kyle and her family/friends.
[biggest pet peeve: she says “Ha!” after almost everything! a) it’s usually not that funny, and b) i can actually hear her laughing.]
i’ll end this post on a positive note about the book and leave you with a quote i really liked:
”[…] being confident includes taking care of yourself and looking out for your own needs. having a clear idea of who you are and what you really want is part of being comfortable with yourself’”](http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lxx1zxzET21qzlbfzo1_400.jpg)
