The random findings & babblings of a twenty-something living in Philadelphia. I graduated college in 2009 and I'm still getting used to this thing we call the "real world."
My favorite things include Philadelphia (the city, the sports, the food), traveling, ice cream, giraffes, taking pictures & finding recipes online that I'll probably never actually get around to making. It's an interesting mix, but so am I.this week, since i’m off on friday, i can take hour lunches (love/hate summer hours). which is perfect because i’ve been meaning to get over to pure fare for lunch.
& now since my sister is working in town this summer [first internship!] i decided to meet her there for lunch today.
i got the chili chicken salad (romaine, shredded chili chicken, fresh corn, jicama, cherry tomatoes, peppers, cilantro & sri racha) & my sister got the naked falafel salad (all the ingredients of falafel, tossed w/ romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes & served w/ a yogurt dressing - but my sister substituted the dressing for balsamic). both were great!
but then, right before i left my friend who works there handed us a goodie bag with an avocado cookie (remember how badly i wanted to try it?!) & a gluten free brownie. amazing!
not much of a review, i apologize, but if you work (or live) near 21st [between sansom & walnut] then definitely check them out! i promise you will not be dissapointed.
PLUS, they also sell coffee & smoothies.
