The random findings & babblings of a twenty-something living in Philadelphia. I graduated college in 2009 and I'm still getting used to this thing we call the "real world."
My favorite things include Philadelphia (the city, the sports, the food), traveling, ice cream, giraffes, taking pictures & finding recipes online that I'll probably never actually get around to making. It's an interesting mix, but so am I.what a weekend.
friday called for part 1 of birthday celebrations for my friend. we headed to manayunk for a girls night & pretending we were still 21. [we’re not. apparently we’re old]
on saturday my softball team had our division playoffs. & not only did we beat the #1 seed but we went one to the league championship game and won that, too! we were down 7-2 and somehow were able to rally in the 6th inning and come back for an 8-7 win. & now we get a banquet to celebrate!
saturday afternoon/noon was for more birthday celebrations. we started at frankford hall for beer & jenga. moved over to continental where we ran into our friend out on a date (see awkward picture above of us). then it was over to xchange for a friend’s going away party. & last stop on our impromptu bar tour was noche for some late night dancing. [well, minus 2 of my friends getting involved in a bar fight and getting tackled by bouncers and then kicked out]
sunday was for sleep, tv & chinese.
hope everyone had a great weekend. i know i’m still recovering.
