Post Grad Slump

austin: nye/night 2.

in addition to the 5 of us that arrived the night before, my friend (who lives in ft. worth) had about 10 of his friends driving over to celebrate nye in austin with us.

& celebrate we did.

bar of choice: maggie mae’s. it’s rooftoop, with a view of the fireworks, & we were totally taking advantage of the usually warm december night.

new years dress! [did i mention i was going to austin, tx for nye?!]

photo does not do justice & bloomingdales only has it online in blue… but you get the idea. [i swear it’s not as short as it is on that model, my legs are not that long]

it’s perfect because it’s not overly fancy, but has just enough sequins to get me into the NYE feel.

so excited to head back to texas, especially austin. instead of spending maybe 12 hours there, we will be there for 2 days! we’re flying into houston on friday (dec 30) where one our friends will pick us up, drive us to austin and meet up with the crew from ft. worth. & then, since we’re not crazy enough, we’ll leave with our friend from ft. worth on sunday, spend the night (jan 1) at his apartment, and then leave from dallas/ft. worth airport on monday. who says you can’t do texas in a weekend?
