The random findings & babblings of a twenty-something living in Philadelphia. I graduated college in 2009 and I'm still getting used to this thing we call the "real world."

My favorite things include Philadelphia (the city, the sports, the food), traveling, ice cream, giraffes, taking pictures & finding recipes online that I'll probably never actually get around to making. It's an interesting mix, but so am I.

today is the first day of fall. even though it hasn’t felt like summer in a few weeks, it’s still hard to image how fast the summer actually flew by! i feel like fall & winter drag on forever. however, fall brings many great things & i’m excited to get this season started!

today’s wardrobe kicks off the season for sure:

skinny jeans [& a $5 donation, we don’t get to wear jeans…ever] - check!

remember when it was spring?

this is not what i hoped for when the season changed.

today: winter coat, wool socks, thick sweater & a large scarf [H&M].

I thought of you as soon as I put this on this morning! It’s actually from Stein Mart [kind of like a TJMaxx/Lohenmann’s in one]. My mom just picked it up for me last week, along with one just like it in another color.

The brand is Collection Eighteen. I wish I knew where to find them - because their website has so many awesome ones. For example, I need to find this one:

Has anyone seen them around in other stores? I think I’ve seen them in South Moon Under. Anywhere else?

When I need a quick break from work, or just something to break up the day a bit, I turn to my favorite websites…ones with deals!

Today Ideeli featured an entire boutique dedicated to scarves, I instantly knew I was in deep trouble…

BUT THEN I REMEMBERED - I still had some credit leftover from when I returned a dress the other week. So…

A Look Into: My Scarf Collection

Surprise, surprise, I love scarves!

Solid & patterned. Neutrals & tie-dye. Cashmere & cotton. Whatever!

I wear a scarf everyday. Hanging them up like this makes it easy to choose one before I run out the door. And if you know anything about me - it matches my clothes, headband/jewelry & shoes for the day. A girls gotta have options!

So, this is just a little peak into my collection. Some are being cleaned (duh!), some are scattered across my bed, some are hiding on the hooks & some are folded in a drawer (read: large knitted ones).
